- TechFabric Privacy Policy: Data Collection, Use, Security
Policy
Privacy Policy
Revised Date: August 11, 2026
This policy is subject to change at any time. Please review it periodically for any updates.
This privacy policy discloses the privacy practices for TechFabric and TechFabric owned websites. It will notify you of the following:
- What personally identifiable information is collected from you through the web site, how it is used and with whom it may be shared.
- What choices are available to you regarding the use of your data.
- The security procedures in place to protect the misuse of your information.
- How you can correct any inaccuracies in the information.
Information Collection, Use, and Sharing
We do not sell or rent your information to anyone, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
We do use a small number of service providers to run this site and answer you. They process data on our instructions and for no other purpose. They are listed under "Who processes data for us" below, and that list is the complete one.
Information you submit through the contact form is used to respond to you about your enquiry. It reaches our own inbox and our own customer record system, and we keep a record of the wording you agreed to at the time you sent it.
Unless you opt out, we may send you occasional email about our work, announcements, or changes to our policies. Every such email carries an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to stop by writing to the address at the end of this policy.
Analytics and how we measure the site
We measure how visitors use this site so we can tell which pages are worth keeping. Three things are worth stating plainly.
PostHog handles our page analytics and runs through our own domain rather than a third-party tracking host. It sets a first-party cookie so a returning reader is not counted as a new person each time. It is not used for advertising and we honour the Do Not Track setting in your browser.
Google Analytics reports the same visits to Google, because that is where a good deal of our reporting has always been read. It loads a script from Google's own domain and sets its own first-party cookies to recognise a returning reader. We have turned off Google signals and advertising personalisation for it, so it measures this site and feeds nothing into advertising, and it is not loaded at all if your browser sends Do Not Track. Blocking third-party scripts stops it.
We estimate which organisation a visit came from, rather than which person. That happens in two ways: from the name of the network your request arrives on, which is worked out entirely on our own servers and puts nothing in your browser, and through Factors, whose script runs in your browser and stores an identifier of its own. Neither tells us your name, and neither is used for advertising. Blocking third-party scripts stops the second of them.
The Cookie Policy sets out what each of these stores.
Who processes data for us
| Processor | What it handles |
|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Hosting, content delivery, and the anti-spam check on the contact form |
| PostHog | Website analytics, served through our own domain |
| Google Analytics, which reports how the site is used | |
| Factors | Company identification, from a script in your browser |
| Plunk | Sending your enquiry to us by email |
| Calendly | Booking a call, only if you choose to book one |
| Microsoft | Our email and the calendar a booked call lands in |
| Databricks | The customer record system where enquiries are stored |
We do not transfer your information to anyone else, and none of these providers may use it for their own purposes.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept in our inbox and customer record system for as long as we have a business relationship or a live conversation, and are removed on request. Analytics data is retained by PostHog and by Google Analytics under our account settings in each, and holds no name or email address for visitors who never contact us.
Special notices to California residents
If you are a California resident and in accordance with CCPA, you are entitled to request information concerning any personal information you provide to us as part of an established business relationship for personal, family, or household purposes that we disclose to nonaffiliated third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not share such personal information with nonaffiliated third parties for such purposes.
Action You Can Take
You may opt-out of any future contacts any time. You can do the following at any time by contacting us via the email address or phone number listed below in this policy, or simply by opting-out using unsubscribe links within emails you receive from us. At any time, you may:
- See what profile data we currently maintain about you
- Change/correct any data we currently maintain about you
- Have your data removed from our systems (unless retention is required by law)
Security
We take your privacy seriously and have precautions in place to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.
Wherever we collect personal information, that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon in the address bar of your web browser, or looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of our web site address.
While we take steps to protect personal information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, subscription management) are granted access to personal information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
Children Privacy Protection
We understand the importance of protecting children's online privacy. Communications, the Website and Mobile Apps are not designed for or intentionally targeted at children under the age of 13. It is not our policy to intentionally collect or maintain information about anyone under the age of 13. If we obtain actual knowledge that we have received such information, we will take steps to delete it.
